The SLES/CAPB/LG blend is a gentle, highly concentrated surfactant formulation made of sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, and lauryl glucoside. The synergy between SLES and CAPB enables easy, efficient thickening using only common table salt. The addition of lauryl glucoside further enhances the viscosity profile, boosts foam richness and stability, and improves the overall mildness of the formulation.
It is cold-processable, requiring only addition to water and mixing until completely incorporated. When formulated with a 20% SLES/CAPB/LG blend, a maximum viscosity exceeding 20,000 mPas is typically achieved with the addition of about 4–5% sodium chloride. With its excellent performance profile, this blend is an ideal choice for formulating shampoos, bath products, skin cleansers, and light-duty laundry detergents.
