Decyl glucoside is a mild, natural, nonionic surfactant derived from sugar and belonging to the alkyl polyglucoside (APG) family. It is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications in hair care, skin care, personal hygiene, and home care formulations.

In liquid form, it is particularly well-suited for body washes, shower gels, shampoos, and skin serums, where it ensures excellent performance. With outstanding wetting and foaming properties, decyl glucoside is also widely used in manual dishwashing liquids and other household cleaning products.

When combined with other surfactants, it demonstrates a synergistic effect. Its mildness helps reduce the irritancy of alkyl sulfates while improving foam quality, cleansing efficiency, and emulsification properties. Decyl glucoside is compatible with almost all surfactants as well as a wide range of personal care ingredients including thickeners, cationic conditioning agents, and active components. It is soluble in concentrated electrolyte solutions, stable in the presence of acids and bases, and well-suited for cold processing.

Environmentally friendly by nature, decyl glucoside delivers effective cleansing while remaining gentle on both skin and the environment. It is self-preserving and contains no added preservatives due to the combination of magnesium oxide and the high pH at which it is supplied.
